Established in 1972,Khagarijan
College is one of the premier colleges of Assam.
Nestled amidst sylvan surroundings, it is located on
the outskirts of the town of Nagaon , beside the
Nagaon- Dakhinpat road . Prior to being
provincialised , the college was under the deficit
system of grants-in-aid of the State government. |

It is now managed by a
Governing Body constituted by the Govt. of Assam as
per provisions of the Assam Non-Govt. College Management Rules, 2001.
Thirty-five years of existence is a
major milestone for any institution. During these
thirty-five years, many young men and women have
passed through our portals and emerged as strong
capable citizens of our country.
Since its inception, the college flourished under
many academician- administrators as its Principal,
The present Principal of the college is Dr. Sagar
Boruah .
The college offers a close-knit
community in which there is a predominant sense of
participation. Besides studies, music, drama and the arts
flourish in this college and we are justifiably proud of our
record of achievement in sport. We have in our midst the All
Assam Table Tennis Champion, who is Mr. Bhava Jyoti Das of
T.D.C. 3rd year. |
